These plain-language terms set expectations for using Vaelorin during its alpha development.
Acceptance of These Terms
By using Vaelorin or creating an account, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to agree to these Terms. This requirement does not by itself resolve every children’s-privacy law that may apply.
Alpha Service
Vaelorin is unfinished alpha software. Features, balance, availability, rules, and content may change. Errors, downtime, data loss, and incomplete systems can occur.
Accounts and Security
You are responsible for keeping your account confidential and providing accurate information where requested. Do not sell, transfer, misuse-share, or use accounts to impersonate others. Vaelorin staff will never need your password through Support.
Acceptable Conduct
Do not harass, threaten, target, or abuse others; impersonate people; spam or disrupt the service; seek another user’s credentials; or use Vaelorin unlawfully.
Fair Play and Technical Abuse
Do not use bots or unauthorized automation, exploit bugs, duplicate items or currency, tamper with requests or game data, attempt unauthorized access, circumvent restrictions, or knowingly continue abusing a severe exploit.
Virtual Characters and Property
Characters, items, currency, progression, and account entitlements are parts of the game service. They have no guaranteed cash or real-world value and may not be exchanged for real money unless Vaelorin expressly authorizes that in the future. Having an account does not transfer ownership of Vaelorin software or content.
Alpha Resets and Wipes
Alpha accounts, characters, progression, inventories, currencies, messages, and other game data may be reset, modified, or deleted. A full wipe may occur before beta or release; permanent preservation of alpha progression is not guaranteed.
Service Changes and Availability
Features may be added, changed, paused, or removed. The service may be unavailable for maintenance, security, hosting, or development reasons, and continuous availability is not guaranteed.
Enforcement
Vaelorin may warn, restrict, suspend, or terminate access for violations, abuse, security risks, or legal requirements. Serious technical abuse may lead to immediate action.
Intellectual Property
Vaelorin’s name, software, artwork, text, world, and original content remain owned by the project or applicable licensors. Do not reproduce or distribute protected material except as legally permitted.
User Communications
Messages and social features are subject to these conduct rules. Do not submit passwords or highly sensitive personal information through game messages.
Disclaimer
The service is provided on an as-available alpha basis. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that applicable law does not permit us to limit.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Vaelorin is not responsible for losses arising from alpha changes, downtime, or lost alpha data.
Changes to These Terms
These Terms may change as the service evolves. We will revise the Last updated date when material changes are published. Continued use after publication constitutes acceptance only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
